Upon arriving at this small and picturesque town, we will stop to enjoy a good breakfast at a local restaurant, pick up hydrating drinks and snacks, and use the restroom facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After breakfast, we will continue for approximately 10 more minutes by transport to the area known as Inca Bridge, the starting point of the trek. Here your guide will give you an introduction with recommendations and safety tips before setting off. The trek begins gradually and then involves an ascent of approximately 4 hours up to the Cachicata Quarries. This path follows the original route used by the Incas to transport stone blocks from the quarry down to build one of the most famous archaeological sites in the Sacred Valley: the Fortress of Ollantaytambo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upon arrival, we will enjoy a box lunch and, after a well-deserved rest, explore the Cachicata Quarries.
