This half-day tour combines beautiful mountain landscapes with incredible panoramic views, beautiful Inca ruins, sumptuous temples, agricultural terraces, canals and water sources, etc.
This great excursion begins with the Meeting at the fountain of the Plaza de Armas of Cusco (Main Square), and then we walk towards the Koricancha temple and then visit the most important Archaeological groups such as: Saqsayhumana, Qenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachayen, all this in our tourist transport, in the company of tourists from many countries.

Itinerary
CITY TOUR IN CUSCO-HALF DAY
We will pick you up from the hotel in Cusco at the scheduled time to begin this incredible excursion. From there you and the guide will head to Coricancha “The Inca Temple of the Sun”. There you will witness the syncretism between Inca Civilization and Catholicism, and along and over the Inca walls, the Spanish built the Church and Convent of Santo Domingo, and you will see the difference between the two building methods. This Inca construction is surprising because it was the main Spiritual Center of the Inca Empire.
From the Coricancha Temple we will walk to Avenida El Sol, to board our transportation and head to the city outskirts to visit the Four Ruins. Our driver will take you in about 25 minutes to the Inca Site called Sacsayhuaman. From there you will have the best panoramic view of Cusco City – Take advantage and obtain many photos. We will visit Sacsayhuaman, seeing the largest and most enigmatic monoliths, weighing up to 200 tons. The guide will give you an explanation of this site and also you will have time to explore on your own.
From Sacsayhuaman we will continue about 5 minutes by bus to Qenqo, which has a large amphitheater, many ceremonial altars and an underground chamber that was a religious center dedicated to the worship of Mother Earth.
After Q’enqo, we will again board our transportation for another 5 minutes to Puca Pucara, another Inca site with some buildings that were used as a military control center. The name means reddish place.
Continuing with the tour, we board the transportation for about 5 more minutes to our last stop called Tambomachay, the Water Temple, with its impressive fountains built to be used by the Inca emperor for ceremonial purposes.
Lastly, take you back to Cusco City and leave you at the hotel.

3. HOW WILL THE CLIMATE BE IN CUSCO?
The weather is very unpredictable in Cusco, it is impossible to say exactly what kind of weather you will find during your Tour. No matter what month trips, make sure you have to hand waterproof clothing like a waterproof jacket or a good poncho for rain.
