Itinerary

DAY 1: CUSCO CITY-CUSIPATA-7 COLORS MOUNTAIN-RED VALLEY-CUSCO CITY.

We start picking up our travelers at 4:30 am, after completing this we will travel for 1 and a half hours to our restaurant (in Cusipata). Along the route we will be able to see the sacred river Willcamayu, which is part of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Upon arriving at the camp, we will have a delicious breakfast (buffet), then we will take the transport again to continue the tour for 1 hour and arrive at the bus station, where we begin the two-hour walk, passing through mountains of intense colors and small streams of frozen water that nourish and give life to the valley, we will see how the colors around us change with the dynamics of the unpredictable weather.

Upon reaching the top, we will reach an altitude of 5,033 meters from where we will be privileged by a delicious view of Vinicunca and other mountains, covered by veils of clouds and snow-capped peaks. Our guide will give you free time to take the best photos and take home a wonderful souvenir of the spot.

We will then begin the hike through the Red Valley for approximately 20 or 30 minutes. We will arrive at the Red Valley viewpoint located at 5,038 meters above sea level. We will be there for 15 minutes, and then make the return journey for another 40 minutes to the bus station; once the entire group is aboard, we will return to the camp for lunch (buffet), and then return to Cusco City, at approximately 5:00pm.

3. HOW MUCH SHOULD I TIP MY GUIDE, THE DRIVER?

Tips are not mandatory, there is no exact amount. Only if you wish, at the end of the Tour you can tip the tour guides and driver. As you can see, this is something additional and completely voluntary, whatever you consider will be greatly appreciated by our support team.

4. WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE IN CUSCO AND RAINBOW MOUNTAIN?

The weather is very unpredictable, it is impossible to say exactly what type of weather you will encounter during the Tour. No matter what month you travel, make sure you have waterproof clothing on hand, like a good raincoat.

During dry season (April to November), mornings are cloudy and can be cold. As the morning hours pass, the clouds disappear and the sun comes out, so it can be quite warm. Sun protection, insect repellent and a good hat are essential. However, remember that it can sometimes rain in June and be sunny in December.

During rainy season (from mid-November to mid-April), pouring is very constant. It is not recommended to travel in February. However, don’t be surprised if some days are sunny this season.

5. IF I HAVE ALREADY PAID MY FIRST INSTALLMENT AND DECIDE TO CANCEL, WILL I BE REFUNDED?
