Itinerary
DAY 1: CUSCO-PISAQ-OLLANTAYTAMBO-CUSCO.
We will pick you up at the fountain in Cusco’s Plaza de Armas (Main Square) at 7:30am and then board our Tourist Transport, which leaves the city at 7:45am.
We head northwest for approximately 45 minutes on our transport, and arrive at our first stop at the Taray Viewpoint, where we will have a unique panoramic sight of the region and the opportunity to admire the incredible Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Then we will continue on our transport for around 25 minutes further and will arrive at the archaeological group of Pisaq (3,300 meters above sea level), a place that we will visit for approximately 1 hour. After that, we will enter the village of Pisac (2,900 meters above sea level) where we will stop for around 30 minutes.
We will continue on our tourist transport for 1 hour, to the city of Urubamba for our Buffet Lunch, in a touristic restaurant.
Afterwards, we continue the tour in our tourist transport for approximately 30 minutes, to reach the Archaeological Group of Ollantaytambo (2,700 m.a.s.l.) located 90 kilometers northeast of the Cusco City, a place that we will tour for 2 hours, accompanied by explanations from our professional guide. It is necessary to climb, it will be an effort that we will have to make but it will be worthy, not only for the beautiful view of the village and the river that we will have, but for the beauty of the archaeological site, which displays impressive Inca architecture.
Continuing the tour, we will board our Tourist Transport for 1 hour and arrive at the village of Chinchero (3,900 meters above sea level) where we will visit its archaeological complex, also touring its village, which is a living Inca culture that still remains, despite the strong incursion of the modern world. You will see textile centers, as women dressed in their beautiful, typical outfits carry out the process of spinning and dyeing wool, with natural dyes and you will be able to appreciate the way they weave.
Finally we board our transport for around 40 min. to return and arrive in Cusco City around 5:30 pm.

2. ARE THERE DISCOUNTS FOR CHILDREN AND STUDENTS?
Yes, for this Tour we offer discounts and special rates for babies, children and students.
- Children under 2 years old accompanied by their parents travel free of charge.
- Children between 3 and 8 years old have a discount of US$100.00 only by sending a scanned copy of the Passport online at the time of Reservation.
- Students also receive a US$20.00 discount in the following cases:
→ School and University Students: for young people between 9 and 17 years old, only by sending a scanned copy of the Passport online at the time of Booking.
→ University Students: for young people up to 25 years of age, only by sending online a scanned copy of the Valid University Card. We accept all cards from all universities in the world (students aged 26 and over are considered adults).
3. HOW MUCH SHOULD I TIP TO THE GUIDE, THE DRIVER?
Tips are not mandatory, there is no exact amount. Only if you wish, at the end of the Tour you can tip the tour guides, cooks and porters. As you can see, this is something additional and completely voluntary, whatever you consider will be greatly appreciated by our support team.
4. WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE IN THE SACRED VALLEY?
The weather is very unpredictable, it is impossible to say exactly what type of weather you will encounter during the Tour. No matter what month you travel, make sure you have waterproof clothing on hand, like a good raincoat.
During dry season (April to November), mornings are cloudy and can be cold. As the morning hours pass, the clouds disappear and the sun comes out, so it can be quite warm. Sun protection, insect repellent and a good hat are essential. However, remember that it can sometimes rain in June and be sunny in December.
During rainy season (from mid-November to mid-April), the rain is very constant. It is not recommended to travel in February. However, don’t be surprised if some days are sunny this season.
5. IF I HAVE ALREADY PAID MY FIRST INSTALLMENT AND DECIDE TO CANCEL, WILL I BE REFUNDED
Unfortunately No. We will not be able to provide any type of refund or change dates for Tours that are paid in installments. All Pre-payments of US$200.00 are non-refundable or transferable, as this money will be invested immediately in all Procedures and Reservations necessary to carry out your Tour, as well as in the purchase of licenses and tickets. We will carry out these procedures at the Peruvian Ministry of Culture (Peruvian State Organization responsible for the Administration of the Inca Trail, Machu Picchu and more).
