TOUR DETAILS
Information
INTRODUCTION
The route begins with the ascent to the Málaga Pass, the highest point of the journey, from where we descend through a valley to Santa María and then to Santa Teresa.
In Santa Teresa you will find the Cocalmayo thermal baths, one of the most visited destinations in the region. The complex has 3 pools of thermal water from underground springs, surrounded by subtropical vegetation.
We continue the journey for approximately 45 minutes to the Majestic Sky Domes Eco-lodge, passing through plantations of avocado, orange, lemon, passion fruit, and coffee. Coffee cultivation is the main agricultural activity in the area, with part of the production destined for export.
In the area we visit a local farm for the experiential Coffee Tour: harvesting, peeling, grinding, and roasting coffee, followed by a tasting of the freshly prepared product.
The area also offers activities such as zipline and a suspension bridge. In the evening there is the option to gather around a bonfire under a clear sky, and rest in a panoramic wooden dome.
