INTRODUCTION
Discover Cusco’s main attractions and visit Machu Picchu on a 3 days / 2 nights. This itinerary combines history, Inca architecture, and Andean landscapes for travelers who want to make the most of a short stay while visiting two of Peru’s most iconic destinations.
On the first day, you’ll visit Qoricancha and the archaeological complexes near the city. The next day, you’ll travel by road and train to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll take a bus up for a guided visit to Machu Picchu, following the circuit specified on your admission ticket.
The package includes the main transfers, admission tickets, and guided services described in the itinerary, as well as two nights at a 2-star hotel in Cusco with breakfast.

ITINERARY
DAY 1. ARRIVAL IN CUSCO AND CITY TOUR
- Meet-and-greet at Cusco Airport and transfer to your hotel. Time to check in and rest before the tour.
- 12:45 p.m.: Pickup from your hotel to begin the Cusco City Tour.
- Visit Qoricancha, or the Temple of the Sun, one of the main religious sites of the Inca era.
- Continue by tourist transportation to the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay.
- Return to the city of Cusco at the end of the visits.
- Overnight at a hotel in Cusco.
DAY 2. MACHU PICCHU BY TRAIN AND RETURN TO CUSCO
Early-morning departure. Exact times will depend on the train schedules and confirmed Machu Picchu admission time.
- Early pickup from your hotel in Cusco and transfer by tourist transportation to Ollantaytambo train station.
- Travel on the Expedition or Voyager tourist train to Aguas Calientes, enjoying views of the valley and mountains along the way.
- Meet your guide in Aguas Calientes and take the bus to Machu Picchu. Enjoy a guided tour of the areas included in your reserved circuit. Return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you can have lunch at your own expense.
- Take the return train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, followed by a road transfer to your hotel in Cusco.
- Overnight at a hotel in Cusco.
DAY 3. FREE TIME AND TRANSFER TO CUSCO AIRPORT
