INTRODUCTION
Welcome to an unforgettable trip through Peru! From the historic capital of Lima to the majestic ruins of Machu Picchu, this adventure promises to captivate your senses and enrich your hearts with the cultural wealth, natural beauty and fascinating history of this country.
We will begin our tour in Lima, the vibrant capital of the country, where the past and present intertwine in its streets full of life. We will discover the colonial elegance in Historic Downtown, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and we will delight with the exquisite Peruvian cuisine, in its world-renowned restaurants.
We will then head south towards the charming city of Ica, famous for its spectacular sand dunes and delicious pisco (Peruvian liquor). There, we will explore the mysterious oasis of Huacachina and enjoy exciting adventures, such as sandboarding, buggy rides through the desert and the opportunity to fly over the incredible Nasca Lines, in a small plane.
We will continue our tour to Cusco City, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire, where the grandeur of its architecture and the essence of its history will transport us to past times. We will marvel at the Rainbow Mountain and impressive Inca ruins, such as Sacsayhuaman Fortress and the Qorikancha Temple and immerse ourselves in the cultural richness of its markets and festivals.

DAY 1. ARRIVAL IN PERU + LIMA CITY TOUR:

The best time to visit each destination may vary, but in general, the dry season from May to September is ideal for Lima, Cusco and Machu Picchu, while Ica can be visited all year round due to its desert climate.
3. WHAT IS THE COUNTRY’S CURRENCY AND WHERE CAN I EXCHANGE MY MONEY?
